Patient Guides

Please find a selection of guides that we have put together at the Addenbrookes foot and ankle service. We understand that there is a lot of information to remember at a consultation or indeed after surgery so having these guides readily available online allows our patients easy access to information about their treatment.

Place your mouse pointer over the foot to view the various fact sheets available.

Ankle Arthroscopy

Ankle Arthritis

Injury of the Ankle Ligaments.

Hallux Rigidus or Arthritis of the Big Toe.

Bunion Surgery - Metatarsal Osteotomy.

Ingrowing Toenails.

Lesser Toe Deformities.

Morton's Neuroma.

Heel pain and Plantar fasciitis.

Anaesthesia.

These guides are aimed at giving patients an insight into what type of procedure they may undergo and they highlight important information on care after surgery. They are meant as supplementary information for patients in addition to the specific guidelines given to patients by myself, or one of my team.

Please click on the relevant area and read online or print off the guidelines to read at your leisure.
